A NEW START

"I wish I could start life all over again" That's they cry of millions - Believe it or not; you CAN have a new start!

1. Why is it that you cannot change your life all by yourself?

Psalms 51:5. Because you were shapen in ___ and conceived in ___. Every person inherits a sinful nature

2. What must happen if you are to make a new start?

John 3:5. You must be ___ again.

3. What does "born again" really mean?

2 Corinthians 3:18. We all, beholding God's glory are __to be born again means to be CHANGED, to start a brand new lifestyle. That's the NEW LIFE! That's CONVERSION!

4. Who works this change in you?

2 Corinthians 5:17. If any man be in __ he becomes new. True, you cannot change yourself, but Christ can change you!

THE CHANGE

5. What does Christ change in you?

Ezekiel 36:26. A new __ also will I give you. The Bible uses "heart" and "mind" interchangeably. Romans 12:2. be transformed (changed) by the renewing of your __. God stands ready to change your mind, your brain, your thinking; from evil thoughts to good thoughts. from impure desire to pure desires, from bad words to food words, from wrong actions to right actions, from dirty habits to clean habits. He changes you.

6. What else does Christ change?

Ezekiel 36:27. And I will put my __ within you. He takes away the spirit of Satan from your brain and He puts the Spirit of God, call the Holy Spirit to control your mind.

7. How radical is this conversion?

Galatians 5:19-23. it is a change from evil works of the flesh such as ___ and ___. It's a radical change. The thief becomes honest, the liar become truthful, the adulterer becomes pure, the pleasure-lover becomes a Jesus-lover, the drunken become sober. The do=called Christian becomes real.
